June already!!! No group next week due to a belated half-term apparently. We’ll be back again the week after for another four sessions.
I know someone suggested Italian, and I’ve got a good one, but then I got overtaken supporting a friend who’s trying to teach a Basque dance online and needed music, so here’s a Basque Arin Arin instead. I’ll see if she can be persuaded to let me share her dance instructions here too… Anyway…

This is a lovely tune that Jerry Holland originally wrote as a slow air. He had other plans for the title, but then, whilst working to include it on his album – Helping Hands, Lew Alpaugh wrote lyrics for it and the name stuck:
