Received this from John re. the ceilidh on the 16th July:
“The evening programme starts at 7:30 pm, so please can band members arrive before then – preferably shortly after 7pm. I have arranged for a room where instruments and their cases can be stored during the evening.
The event takes place at the Lothersdale Hotel. There is parking opposite the hotel.
The days events are approximate (i.e. TBA):
19:00-19:30 – everyone arrives and instruments are stored safely away
19:30-20:15 – Lancaster & District Male Voice Choir entertainment
20:15 – 20:30 – Ceilidh Band sets up
20:30 – 21:00 – Ceilidh until the food arrives
21:00-21:30 – Serving of light snacks
21:30-22:20 – Ceilidh continues
22:00 onwards – whatever happens e.g. music sessions or switch over to canned music.
There will be a free bar for wine, beer and soft drinks from 19:00 to 21:00 (or until the kitty runs out!)
I’m expecting around 80 people in all – ranging in age from 90+ to 2yrs old.
Cheers,
John.”

Seaside sculpture day is on the 14th. I’m still awaiting time details, but thought I’d better check in with folks to let you know I’m still thinking of you 😉 Set list is the same as we did (or planned to do) at the West End Festival… See you in a couple of weeks… More details soon…
